Medical services in Brandenburg range from neighbourhood practices to university hospitals. Bring your insurance card, any previous test results and a list of medications you take. Your Hausarzt (family doctor) is normally the first stop and issues the referral (Überweisung) that specialists and hospitals ask for. Pharmacies (Apotheken) are separate businesses that dispense the prescription you are handed, and every district keeps a Notdienst rota so that one pharmacy is open at night and on Sundays.

Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 08:30–13:00. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 0179 5282813. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is tierarztpraxisberg.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 53 reviews, which is a strong result for a tierärzte in Kleinmachnow and suggests consistent service.

Kleinmachnow is in Brandenburg, in the east of the country, where Dresden, Leipzig and the smaller historic towns combine restored old centres with lower rents and prices than the west; the continental climate brings hot summers and cold, dry winters. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Was will man mehr?
