München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Really good selection, variety of brands, for all ages (including younger and middle age women), trendy but vintage. Friendly owner too

I live in munich since 2010 and shop about 90% of my clothes second hand. Vintageria is one of my favourite spots for that! You can find high quality pieces - high end designer and high street next to more affordable quality items. the store is very well curated and offers everything from t-shirts and jeans, shoes, and of course designer bags. the owner is very welcoming and helpful, but she is also honest and if something looks off, she would not talk you into buying it 👍🏻

Great shop for vintage finds. Super sweet owner, and you can really find some amazing fashion pieces

Don't be fooled by the name - rather than being a shop for vintage or affordable secondhand, it's very much aimed at people looking to buy used luxury. Clearly well curated and looked after pieces, but some of the prices for the clothing were quite extortionate. 129 euros for a secondhand Sezane skirt (which isn't even a designer brand)? It was probably around that price, or less, new! Thin cami tops at 49 and 89 euros? And no, I won't pay over 400 euros for a secondhand blouse, even if it's Zimmermann. A beautiful shop for those that can afford it, but for the rest of us - not really worth the time.
