About The Lighthouse of Digital Art | Berlin

For directions in Berlin, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

First part of the visit is the cosmic themed movie made in 360 degrees technology, making you feel like in the center of the story. It's very impressive. Secondly you may take a tour in the back to see digital art installations that are as much impressive. The museum is located in a post-industrial area adapted for bars, clubs and street food.

Particle Poetry- 3.5 stars for efforts, 2 for my experience. Initially I'd like to say that my review might be biased as I'm not that into light graphics. I watched it cause it looked cool and I thought that it would be a small learning experience about 'particles'. At least that's the idea I derived after going through their website. (Sadly there was very little to no learning experience, nor was it informative). Visually, the graphics were really cool. But the thing is, one can only look at a screen with random light graphics for so long. The 50 minute show was, at most, hypnotizing. (This is my polite way of saying that I kind of slept through the mid 10-15 minutes) After the initial excitement, it was just a screen showing random lights and particles for the next hour straight. I'm sure a lot of work went into it. I absolutely do not want to criticize the efforts, however for someone like me, it wasn't much fun. One interesting aspect that I must mention is that you can lay down/sit down on bean bags and enjoy the surround sound and visual experience, as the screen is not just in front of you but also there are projections on the walls around you.

A great little spot showing an incredible light show. This is an amazing activity you cannot miss when visiting Berlin, and for a great price, it’s worth attending. The light show has some amazing colours and imagery and it’s a great way to chill out and take in some art whilst in the city. Outside of the building is also some amazing graffiti and wall art worth checking out!

good place to unwind and enjoy. the show lasts an hour, a lot of space, not hot, very clean, good sound, the number of visitors depends on the time, there were only a couple of people at my session, but unfortunately I was not entirely lucky and one of the visitors constantly stood in the middle and took pictures, literally closing the center of what is happening, but these are isolated cases I think. The staff is very nice, we were met by a smiling girl, there is a cash payment!! You can also buy drinks there. In addition to the show itself, there are two rooms, one of them presents photographs of modern art, the second consists of mirrors and lights, very beautiful!! whether to buy tickets in advance depends on the time, there were already many visitors for the next session, and on mine there were only three pairs

Definitely worth seeing as there is a reduced fair for students. However, the exhibition lacked in having an X factor. During the show I basically fell asleep as it was nothing ground breaking. Furthermore the angle we were sitting from was not ideal as we could not experience the different angles and concepts of light as we wanted to. Perhaps rearranging the seats for guests/spectators would help with the ambiance.
