Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 5 pm–1 am. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

We had a truly horrible experience here, and will never go back. My friend and I had come from the airport and were meeting a friend here for a drink before going to our hotel. We arrived around 18:05pm and there was a sign saying that the bar was closed for a private event until 18:00, but one of the bartenders came and removed the sign as we arrived. So we took a seat and my friend went to the bathroom and a woman with a company badge (not a bar employee) came up to me and said that they shouldn't have taken the sign away but then they had the space reserved. I said okay and I will move when my friend gets back from the bathroom. Less than a minute later, a bartender started yelling at me that I can't pretend like I wasn't told to leave and that I needed to get out. I apologized again said that I was waiting for. My friend, grabbed his stuff and took both of our belongings back to the bar entrance. Where I said that I thought the private event was over. A second bartender came over and said that I couldn't bring my luggage into the bar and that I needed to go leave it at the hotel reception. So I took both my luggage and my friends to hotel reception and came back to the bar af

So the atmosphere is really cozy, the music was cool and the cocktails good, but the size of the cocktails is not in proportion to the price. In fact, it's two sips of cocktail for a price of 10+ euros. The bar is above a restaurant and there is a passage to the hotel. In summary, it was an experience, but I wouldn't come back again, the alcoholic drinks are too expensive for that.

Found this place walking distance to the hotel we were staying at and the concept and decor was captivating. You have little pockets of things to look at while in there. Even the toilet is a fun trip. Of course it was busy and crowded on a Saturday however the staff was attentive and got our orders rather quickly. We got Paris Sour and The Duke G&T - classics but nicely done. Place to vibe and groove but not have a chat or on a first date.

I’d rather give 3.5 but such a pity it was not possible. My friend suggested me to go there. The first impression was, we stood there and waited and were ignored. Well, finally we got inside and got a place. It’s was lovely decorated like in the library and at first I thought the price for the drinks were also fine. Well, at the end, it’s difficult to say. I’d say location & decorations is awesome. The drinks were ok ( the price is not high but you’ll get a mega-big iced cubicle that filled the half of your glass) …. Well, all in all, it was not bad but I’d really would prefer to pay more for a real fulled glass drink.
