The other dishes were good, but the fried rice had a strong burnt smell—like melted plastic or a scorched pan. The smell was already very noticeable when it was served, yet it was still brought out anyway. I won’t be coming back. It was too expensive for such a disappointing experience. -Thank you for your response, but as an Asian person, I know the taste and aroma of smoke and char very well. What I experienced was completely different. Smoky or char-grilled flavors are usually appetizing, but the smell I mentioned was more like an artificial burnt plastic odor. It was so unpleasant that the food was inedible. Considering the high price, I do not think the level of service was sufficient for such an experience, and it felt like the restaurant lacked proper quality control.

"The Bangkok Kitchen is a true gem! Located on Zollnerstr. 179 in Bamberg, this restaurant offers an authentic Thai culinary experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu is extensive, featuring a wide array of traditional Thai dishes. I particularly enjoyed the red curry with shrimps, which had a delightful Thai spicy kick, perfectly balanced and incredibly authentic. It's truly a taste of Thailand from the best side, right in the middle of Bavaria! The chef is clearly a culinary master, expertly preparing each dish with traditional Thai techniques and fresh ingredients. You can see, feel, taste, and enjoy Thailand from its best side. The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you receive. If you're looking for an authentic and delicious Thai meal, The Bangkok Kitchen is a must-visit! Highly recommended!"
