I chose Salamatee Thai Massage as a walk-in customer after a workout because I wanted a professional Thai massage to help my muscles recover. When I arrived, I was greeted by a friendly young woman who then led me to the receptionist. After confirming they had availability, the same young woman escorted me to the treatment room. Naturally, I assumed she would be my massage therapist. After I had undressed and was lying on the table, however, a completely different therapist entered—an elderly woman who appeared old enough to be my grandmother. It felt misleading to have one person introduce the treatment and another quietly take over without any explanation. Unfortunately, the massage itself was one of the worst I have experienced. For most of the session, the therapist repeatedly drove her elbows into my upper back with considerable force. Very little time was spent massaging my arms, hands, legs, or feet. Whenever she did use her hands, they felt extremely rough, making the experience even less pleasant. The real disappointment came the next morning. The place is clean and nicely maintained. We had a couple’s massage, but unfortunately, the therapists kept talking to each other during the session. The door wasn’t fully closed, and one of them even left the room in the middle of the massage. It also felt a bit rushed, so we didn’t get the full relaxation we were hoping for. However, the massage itself was quite good.
