Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I truly hope that the Technical University of Nuremberg will be an asset to Nuremberg and the Langwasser district, characterized by exchange and knowledge. Nevertheless, the faculty building’s Bauhaus-style design resembles a prison cell more than a building that is appropriate and in keeping with Nuremberg’s historic character. I hope that a modern library and a cafeteria will be built there in the future. Perhaps the Bauernfeind subway station could also be modernized at the same time, and the university might be expanded gradually.
