Große Kirche, die den Wiederherstellungsbaustil der Nachkriegszeit vor dem 2. Vatikanischen Konzil bis heute bewahrt hat.

Große nüchterne Kirche, aber sehr schön im Gesamteindruck. Im 2. Weltkrieg komplett zerstört und nach dem Krieg neu aufgebaut. Im Jahre 1951 konnte die neue Kirche geweiht werden. Hinter dem Hochaltar ist eine Kapelle, die im Halbkreis um den Hochaltar gebaut ist. Eingang ist links und rechts von Hochaltar, sehr schön angelegt, sieht man nicht so oft.

Wer,s nicht mehr weiss: die Deckenfresken hat in den 70er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts Marcel Zapf , ein berühmter zeitgenössischer Maler aus dem Landkreis Augsburg gemalt, mit dessen Ergebnis er aber schlussendlich nicht zufrieden war, in seiner Autobiographie erscheinen die zwar gross , aber er hat das immer .... Auftragsmalerei genannt. War ein Autodidakt und Freigeist und hat eben sehr an der reinen Lehre der Kirche gezweifelt. Ich wurde in den 70ern Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts auch immer hierher gezwungen, aber war halt eine andere Zeit. Ist eben nur zu hoffen, dass die Kirche heute mit den Kindern anderst umgeht als damals.

St.Max in Augsburg ist eine sehr schöne, moderne Kirche. Den auferstandenen Jesus im Altarraum finde ich sehr ansprechend.Außerdem finde ich die Gemeinde sehr aufgeschlossen und nett. Fühle mich sehr wohl.

Modern anmutende Kirche. Nach dem 2. Weltkrieg wieder aufgebaut, interessante Glasfenster.

Es ist eine sehr schlichte Kirche, weiße Wandfarbe und ein Altargemälde. Aber diese Schlichtheit kann sie auch gut ertragen.
