Wunderschöne spätgotische Kirche abseits der Touristenpfade.Ein bißchen wie die kleine Schwester von St.Ulrich und Afra.Im Norden schön angelegter und stiller Innenhof - eine echte Ruhe-Oase.

Die bezaubernde St. Georg Pfarrkirche im historischen Georgs- und Kreuzviertel von Augsburg ist ein wahres Juwel. Mit ihrer reichen Geschichte, exquisiten Architektur und der tiefen Verbindung zur Mozart-Familie ist sie ein absolutes Muss. Gut erhalten und prächtig gepflegt, lädt die Taufkirche von Leopold Mozart zu einem faszinierenden Spaziergang durch die Jahrhunderte ein. Der angrenzende Konventbau, erbaut vom Großvater Mozarts, fügt einen weiteren historischen Glanzpunkt hinzu. Ein absolutes Highlight für Geschichts- und Musikliebhaber. Unbedingt besuchen!

Am 23.4.2023 da gewesen, ein schöner Gottesdienst mit einer tollen Predigt übers Gebet. Es wurde Beichte kommende Woche um 9.30 Uhr angekündigt. Wir kommen also am 30.04.2023 um 9.40 Uhr. Unser Kleinkind mitgeschleppt, ich schwanger. Drei Beichtstühle leer. Ich habe an der Tür des Pfarrhauses geklingelt (beim Pfarrer und im Sekretariat), keine Antwort. Kein Wunder keiner mehr geht zur Beichte.

Weihnachtskonzert der besonderen Art nur drei Worte " Mystisch, Bezaubernd Wow" ein wunderschönes Konzert nächstes mal wieder mehr als nur empfehlenswert

Eine schöne sehr alte Kirche mit Anfängen im 10. Jahrhundert. Einst eine Doppelkirche und Klosterkirche, heute nur noch Pfarrkirche.
