Ingolstadt is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Ingolstadt is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I absolutely loved Don’s Intensive German Course (A1)! He is patient, encourages everyone to participate, and makes learning fun and interactive. Don explains even the most confusing German words in a very simple way, so we can understand them in class without needing Google Translate. The lessons are engaging, well-structured, and full of practice in listening, speaking, and writing. I also made new friends and gained more confidence speaking German. Thank you for such a supportive and inspiring learning environment! Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team und besonders an Don. :)

I have contacted many other language schools since I come to Germany and Aktiv Sprachschule is my favourite without a doubt. I have been learning German and giving Turkish lessons at this institution as a foreign student at Ingolstadt. Learning a new language requires patience and effort, but the most important detail is to feel comfortable and confident while making mistakes. The teachers at Aktiv provide this comfortable atmosphere and the administration is always open to try new methods and adapt their program according to the student’s needs. I recommend Aktive to all who aims to learn a foreign language. Özellikle bir dil okulu arayan herkese tavsiye ediyorum:)))

I was part of Susanne Sitzl’s A1 to C1 class of 2023. Sprachschule Aktiv under Susanne was my second home here in Ingolstadt for almost a year. It was always a safe space and the classes really helped me with my German a lot. I’m so lucky and honored to have been part of the last class that she handled. I will always have fond memories of being here.

I have attended from A1 till B2 with Susanne, and she really knows how to start with beginners. The reason why I preferred this institution was that Susanne speaks and explains in English whenever it was required for a better understanding of queries. Not only was the language focused, but also the German culture was discussed at various levels. Felt comfortable throughout the journey. Leaving with good memories only. Thank you, Susanne.

I just finished a language course at Sprachschule Aktiv. The teacher was fabulous! The lessons were clearly explained, my questions were patiently answered and there was plenty of time for me to practice speaking. The teacher was very encouraging and supportive, and I never felt ashamed of my mistakes. This experience has totally exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend Sprachschule Aktiv!
