I Needed passport photos made and called out of the blue. The gentleman gave me an appointment then and there, sat me down and even told me how to pose for the photo for it to be good, and I must say it really did make a difference, as I am not a photogenic person. I don't know what the normal price for 4 passport/id card photos is but for the expedient and professional work alone it was worth the 18 euros.
