I’ve been renting with Sixt for over 20 years, and they have never let me down. They are professional, reliable, and consistently provide modern, almost-new vehicles in impeccable visual and technical condition. On the rare occasions when friends rented from other companies, there always seemed to be some disappointment, which only reinforced my confidence in Sixt. Overall, in my experience, the competition simply doesn’t compare. Highly recommended.

The experience is bad started with a downgraded car from what I booked as a BMW 4 gear to Audi A5 which supposed to be in BMW 3 gear, and the following day I headed back to the place as I asked the Sixt official service they said there is available for car changing but when I arrived the agent came out to the desk slowly with unhappy face and just makes me feels like he doesn’t want to work and I owed him somewhat, also I felt a bit discriminated. Anyhow I asked him for a change he said no and shouted at me said I told you you have only this A5. But luckily the good folks from city south branch helped me to figure the problem out

Booked a SUV and paid 2 months ago. When I picked up the car, is a Peugeot which i can't even put 2 luggage bags into the boot and I have to squeeze one luggage bag into the back passenger seat where we have 2 people sitting at the back seats. I dont have any choice because this is only car available and allocated to me. Worst still, I am driving a car with a big Sixth logo at 2 sides advertising for Sixth thought out my journey. Is really a joke.....

One star may be too many. Had paid for vehicle in advance, the smallest of vehicles to fit in a small garage in Strasbourg. We arrived at 9:15am for our 8:am rental. We didn’t fret as it was paid in advance. Upon arrival nobody here. A sign indicates they are delivering a vehicle. We wait an hour. I need the bathroom. The garage is open. I find my way into basement looking for men’s room. I locate men’s room but not before locating a room where someone had defecated on the concrete floor. I go up and wait. Attendant arrives. He is irate. He informs me that I had not been there in time that morning so he rented my pre-paid vehicle to someone else. He charges me 150 Euros more for an upgraded car. He charges 25 Euros more to cross a border, though I indicated in application where I was to pick up and drop off. I get the car. I ask him to mark down the existing damage. He indicates nastily that it is already recorded. I photograph the damage. He is angry. I never raise my voice or get abusive. This seems to get him more angry. I arrive later that evening. Rather than 175 Euros being billed I am billed for $541.68 Strange way to run a company.

We ordered the car from home in England 3 months earlier. We got exactly what we asked for at the price agreed. We picked it up on time in Nurnberg with no fuss and no pressure to spend more. The car was excellent and almost new and we enjoyed nearly 900 km driving around Bavaria and Austria. Returning it Freilassing. Again no fuss. Thanks.
