Really good staff. Rental at short notice. I would recommend this location. Very unusual to get a staff member to inspect the car at hand over it was provided here and a full demo of the cars features and connecting my phone. Return was equally good with offer of calling a taxi and bus information. Thanks to all at this depot.

The process was very smooth. The person at the desk was extremely helpful answering all questions and important things about the car. Highly recommend and will use them again in the future.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent rental experience at the Sixt branch. The car I had reserved was not available, and I was given a different vehicle. Due to the heavy rain at pickup and the fact that the car was left outside, it was impossible to properly inspect the windshield or notice whether there were any existing chips. Despite having a completely incident-free drive and being extremely careful during the 3-day rental and returning the car without any issues noted by the Sixt staff at the airport, I was contacted two days later with a claim demanding €1,200 for a windshield replacement. If any damage existed, it was so minimal or insignificant that neither I nor the Sixt representatives noticed it at pickup or drop-off, which raises serious doubts about when the damage actually occurred. This experience has been extremely frustrating for me and feels unfair, especially given that I took great care of the vehicle. I expected far better transparency and professionalism from Sixt.

Absolutely smooth experience right from collecting the car to dropping it off. The staff were courteous and provided the car I reserved within a few minutes without any fuss. Highly recommend SIXT and especially this rental station in Bamberg!
