Do not rent from this location unless you document every single second of your return. They engage in questionable billing practices and ignore clear physical and digital evidence. I returned my vehicle to the Augsburg parking lot at 16:21 on July 21—well before my 17:00 deadline. I dropped the keys at 16:24 and took timestamped photos/videos. Furthermore, the parking lot entry ticket itself proves the exact minute the vehicle entered the facility. What happened next: 1. They sent an automated notification on July 22 claiming the car was never returned at all. 2. When I called customer support to correct their error, the station acknowledged the vehicle was present. However, they subsequently logged the return time as 18:00 (1 hour late) and assessed an unjustified extra charge. 3. Despite receiving time-stamped metadata, photos, video proof, and garage entry records, customer support has refused to fix this manufactured system error and kept asking for email - lost me hours because they are unlawfully trying to generate money. Booking and pickup were incredibly fast with absolutely no waiting around. The return process was just as easy and hassle-free. The car was exactly as expected; we rented an SUV and got a BMW X1, which was a great value for the money.

One of the most disappointing experience. I booked a car for Sunday and had booked for an automatic car with all advanced features and comfort features.. They give me a manual car instead that was so disappointing. It was a Sunday so no one could be reached at the Sixt office.. after speaking with customer care for 30 min all they say is sorry we can’t give you a replacement car. It was completely their mistake and I had to cancel all my trip plans and bear the cost of all trip related other bookings that I made for the trip. I went through loss and Sixt sends me a 15 euro voucher. I didn’t use the car and returned it, I requested the customer care to process my refund. Funny is I still haven’t gotten my refund back and no one from the branch has contacted me. Such a disappointing experience. I highly don’t recommend this branch.

Google shows that this Sixt office is open until 12:00 on Sundays, but it was closed with no notice. This is misleading and unacceptable. Customers depend on accurate opening hours, and this lack of information creates serious inconvenience.
