Sissi gave us the most wonderful first dinner of our honeymoon in Berlin. The service was incredible from beginning to end. The team went out of their way to make the evening special, including setting up our table with roses. It was such a thoughtful and memorable welcome to the city. We trusted their recommendations for almost everything, and they did not steer us wrong. We had the gratinated beef marrow bone with toasted bread, which was rich, savoury, and absolutely delicious. The Styrian beetle bean salad was a wonderful surprise, especially because I do not normally care for beans. We finished with the original veal Wiener Schnitzel and warm Austrian potato-and-cucumber salad. Everything was beautifully prepared. We also enjoyed a Hugo Spritz with elderflower, Prosecco, soda, and mint. Wonderful Austrian food, genuinely caring service, and an atmosphere that made an important evening feel even more special. Thank you to the entire team for giving us such a memorable start to our honeymoon. We will always remember our first night in Berlin because of you.

We chose this restaurant as the first dinner of our honeymoon after doing some research on great restaurants in the area. They treated us with such kindness and magic, and the food was spectacular. We especially appreciated the service and expertise, as all of their food recommendations were a hit. Thanks so much for making our experience so memorable.

I had the Backhendlesalat (fried chicken salad), and waited a bit here with a couple of beers. Amazing meal for the price, and lovely staff/experience!

Delicious, unique dishes. The goat cheese salad with the strips of bacon was divine. Ive never loved a salad (as you can see in my pictures I demolished it 😆) I went back and got it as a starter again! Staff are very kind and attentive. Lovely vibes here.

We found Sissi Restaurant online and, given its excellent ratings, my partner and I decided to give it a try as it was close to the hotel where we were staying. We reserved a table via OpenTable as it allows same-day bookings, whereas their own website does not accept reservations for the same day. The service was excellent – attentive, warm and friendly – and I must say it served the best schnitzel we had during our trip to Berlin. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return on our last evening before leaving Berlin. We tried the veal, pork and chicken schnitzel, and the chicken was our favourite, especially with the warm potato and cucumber salad. This place is a must-try!
