We visited SEEHAUS as part of a company team event with around 20–30 people. The venue is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it an excellent choice for group gatherings and corporate events. The staff were friendly and did their best to take care of everyone. It was clear that our server was handling a large number of guests at once, but they remained professional and responsive throughout the evening. Communication in both German and English was smooth. The only reason I’m giving four instead of five stars is that the restaurant offers only a very limited set menu for group bookings rather than its full à la carte menu, while the pricing doesn’t seem to differ much. It would be great to see more flexibility for larger groups. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience.

A wonderful place right on the lake shore! 🍻 On a sunny day you can sit with a cold draft beer, enjoy the view of the lake and nature, while people paddle, row, or ride pedal boats. The food is fresh and delicious – chicken, pork knuckles, Bavarian sausages, plus grilled trout and mackerel nearby. You can bring your own food or order here. Perfect atmosphere, super relaxing. Highly recommended! 🌞

Took a few buses and tram, and walked quite a distance to get here with a beautiful lake view. The food selections were excellent. Pretty pricy. But, to experience such great food and atmosphere, it was worth it! Btw, there were lots of bees trying to share your food. I was a bit busy besides eating, but I enjoyed the scenery and the delicious food. LOL!

It was raining so we were unable to see the lake or outside. Inside the restaurant tried to be gourmet and luxurious but failed in all fronts. Food was expensive but poor - my trout had zero flavor and there was no cooking involved to justify it being almost 30 euros. The kids meal pasta was extremely underwhelming. We ordered a soup that was just salty liquid water. The best thing they served was bread but we even had to ask for butter. There were people sitting out near the porch with a view of the lake. The restaurant was empty so we asked to be seated there - they replied it was closed. We asked again saying there are people sitting there - they replied it was closed without offering any explanation. I know Germans are stoic but service was slow and cold. Don’t expect any type of beergarden here. Maybe its great when the weather is good. We traveled over 40 minutes by taxi just to get here because of the great reviews from Google and even ChatGPT recommended it. Overall - extremely disappointed.
