Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The children loved the exhibits; Spectrum is very interactive (less so in the special exhibition on networks, which is more interesting for adults, but the main exhibitions on light, sound and energy enable them to try everything hands-on). Although it was a weekend, it wasn't crowded.

Fabulous part of the Technikmuseum in Berlin. They have a lot of hands-on experiments and such which reminded me of Nemo museum in Amsterdam. My daughter loved running around and touching here and there.

The Science Center Spectrum was an amazing experience, especially for the kids. Everything is hands-on and interactive, making learning fun and engaging. The exhibits do a fantastic job of showing how our senses perceive the world around us. From optical illusions to sound experiments and balance challenges, every station sparked curiosity and excitement. It’s a perfect place for children (and adults!) to explore science in a way that’s playful and memorable. Highly recommended for families visiting Berlin! Note: 1 ticket gets you into 3 museums please plan this for a half or full day. Good cafe in main building for a rest period.

If you like science and have not been to this Museum in Berlin, I totally recommend it. Light, Electricity, Magnetism, etc. It is also very interesting for kids to explain some simple things that they might ask, like why is the sky blue? Etc. I totally see it as a very nice way to get people and kids interested about science.

Our kids had the best time here, everything is interactive! Might be the greatest kids museum so far (and we’ve been to many!!). They learned a lot too, many questions and answers. Each floor has lots of things to do, I also loved this place. The car section is downstairs and quite different to the main museum, still interesting but static.
