München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

My son has been attending group Nachhilfe in Maths for over a month and I have already seen a vast improvement. He is in the 9th grade and has big gaps due to a mixture of circumstances at school, but I have noticed that he has fun in the subject now (before it was approached with dread) and can actually explain what he is doing to me. He says that the teachers are really helpful and he understands more. He goes there happily. I see this as a long-term investment for his future. My only regret is that we didn't come here sooner. I can definitely recommend Schulerhilfe in Milbertshofen. We'll done !
