For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

Opening hours are published for 1 day a week. On most of those days it is open 16:30–20:00. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Schrebergarten Gaststätte on 0151 11970241; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, schrebergartenverein-coburg-nord.de.

With 3.9 out of 5 on Google from 10 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for biergärten & brauhäuser in Coburg. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.
