Schanzer Fahrschule GmbH is one of the fahrschulen listed in Ingolstadt, Bayern. The business is registered at Am Westpark 6, 85057 Ingolstadt; use this page to check its opening hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Cars in Germany need the main inspection (Hauptuntersuchung, by TÜV or DEKRA) every two years, and a workshop that handles it for you is worth keeping in your contacts. Ask for an itemised estimate before work starts, check whether the price includes labour and VAT, and ask whether original or aftermarket parts are used. A Vertragswerkstatt costs more than an independent workshop but keeps the manufacturer's warranty intact, and winter tyres are required whenever conditions are wintry.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 12–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Schanzer Fahrschule GmbH on 0841 99338111; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is schanzer-fahrschule.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 230 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded fahrschulen in Ingolstadt.

Ingolstadt is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I couldn't recommend a better driving school to learn from. The staff are very friendly and helpful in every step of the way. Jürgen was my instructor and thanks to him I gained confidence in my ability to drive and clear the exam.

I highly recommend Schanzer Fahrschule. The prices are expensive but in my opinion you generally pay less in comparison to other schools since the staff is just very experienced (i.e less driving lessons, exams easily passed etc…). I would highly recommend asking for Julia specifically.

Driving School: I recently attended this driving school and had a good experience. The staff is friendly, professional, and responsive, creating a welcoming environment. Instructor Jürgen: My instructor, Mr. Jürgen, was excellent. He is experienced, patient, and speaks English, which was very helpful for me. His calm and supportive teaching style helped me overcome my nervousness and improve my driving skills. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and understanding driving instructor.

I will write this review in two parts, one is for the driving school and second is for my instructor Mr. Jürgen. Driving school: People are very friendly, professional and fast in response. Although the customer service staff only communicate in German language so I preferred writing emails for all my questions and concerns. In short very professional and to the point in helping all your concerns. Driving Instructor: I chose Mr. Jürgen, he can communicate in English as well, I felt very comfortable in choosing him as my instructor, he is very polite, patient and very experienced in his teaching lessons. I will definitely recommend him to people who want English speaking driving instructor.

I have a pretty bad experience with this driving school. In my experience- 1. My driving instructor is quite rude, not flexible and mostly on phone. 2. The staff at office has told that my theory test is valid till December 22 when asked multiple times, but I had to register second time and take theory test again after receiving letter from city office in march itself. This felt quite unprofessional from their side. 3. Price performance ratio is very bad.
