The Saturn Arena (or SATURN-Arena) is located in the city of Ingolstadt, Germany. It is a multi-functional indoor arena primarily used for ice hockey. Key Information: Location: Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany (Full address: Südliche Ringstraße 64, 85053 Ingolstadt) Opening Date: September 2003 Capacity: Approximately 4,815 people (for ice hockey matches; up to 6,000 for other events) Main Use: Matches of the home team ERC Ingolstadt (plays in the DEL - Deutsche Eishockey Liga). Also hosts concerts, shows, fairs, and other sporting/cultural events. Features: Very modern and flexible hall, accommodating everything from ice hockey to large music events. It's not a major international stadium in the world, but it's quite popular with German hockey fans. Well organized venue vor both youth hockey as well as for Top Germany Division. Guestblock has a very good visibility to the ice. Good food, but service is not so quick. Few parking slots. Better use the public transportation.

It is a nice place to visit! Offen exhibitions are held here. In a normal day you can go skating, please see opening times. There is a parking lot!

I was there during an event with about 3,5 thousand people. The event was well organized and even during a fire alarm, everyone was calm and we can evacuate the building savely. I can recommend this Arena for large events.
