Fürth is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Rosengarten apartments are great. The location is very central furth, on a quiet street. We stayed in apt 5.72 - level 5, no 72, during June 2026, whilst visiting family. It’s right at the top of the building and very quiet at night so sleep was good. The apartment and block are very clean, modern with working lifts and spacious corridors. Apt 5.72 has a lovely big (super king) bed. There’s a fold out sofa bed in the living room /kitchen which looks unused. It was very clean when we arrived, and also cleaned halfway through our 7 day stay. We don’t give it 5 stars - it’s a kitchen and bathroom thing. The kettle is small, inferior, and plugged in behind the microwave. We didn’t cook, but if you do theres nothing much there other than bare essentials. No tea towels. The smallest wipe up cloth I’ve ever seen. And no sweeping brush or vacuum cleaner for those occasional messes. No shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom. The WiFi code and emergency contact number is on the wall in the living room. Took us ages to spot that. An info book on the table would’ve been better. It’s always useful to have emergency numbers too.

Schönes, sauberes Apartment, genau was wir gesucht hatten.
