Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–2 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Rhodos on 0851 35371; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is rhodos-passau.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 1,873 reviews, which is a strong result for a griechisch in Passau and suggests consistent service.
Passau is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Wonderful restaurant. Despite the busy time in the evening we were immediately directed to a free table and greeted by the friendly staff. The menu has a large selection of dishes, some of which you don't often see in generic greek restaurants. I had gyros kalamari as i like the surf and turf combination, and it came with pita and a salad included. For desert we had the galaktombureko which was absolutely delicious. A bit pricey with around 28€ per person for us, but definitely worth the visit.
