About Restaurant Bei Niko

Located at Am Schießhaus 2, 95445 Bayreuth-Schießhaus, Restaurant Bei Niko operates as a griechisch serving Bayreuth in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 5:30–10 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 0921 1501147. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, beinikobayreuth.de.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 739 reviews, which is a strong result for a griechisch in Bayreuth and suggests consistent service.

Bayreuth is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Bayreuth, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Hands down, one of the best Greek eats I've had! The food is authentic, flavorful and generous portions. But what really stole the show was the service: attentive, friendly and super knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend it!

Overall an OK choice if you want some quick semi-authentic greek food. Location: Lots of parking space, beer garden with open air seating and lots of indoor seating. All very accessible. Atmosphere: A mixed bag. Inside, it's a melange of old german bar and new garden hut. Solid old furniture and decoration but cheap looking wooden walls that just won't fit with the occasional greek bust replica or Greece themed pictures. All accompanied with traditional greek music that elevates the atmosphere. If it's sunny, I'd advice to sit outside. The beer garden is in close proximity to greenery. Although it has a more German atmosphere, the food tastes mich better with sunshine and fresh air. Service: Friendly, efficient and helpful. Didn't have any bad experiences there. Was given a free Ouzo as a send-off. Although, an Ouzo is usually served as an aperitive. Food: The food was the least positive experience. It wasn't overly bad but also nothing good. The octopus salad was just octopus from the can decorated with vegetables. The meats were grilled well but - like everything else - totally oversalted. The shrimp and squid were fried too long. The tzatziki didn't have an authentic greek t

Nice place in a quiet location, was easy to find parking place and since I called them in advance as soon as I sit my dish was ready. Ambient and atmosphere couldn't get more like Greek traditional taverns, being there felt like I was back in Greece. Price to portion and quality is pretty good, overall very nice experience and would strongly suggest it!! Will be back for sure

Great food, the customer service is also great, food portions are jus like in Greece...more than enough and the tast.... What can I say... It traveled me back in Greece... I totally recommend you going there and especially taste the "soutzoukakia" !!!

Big portions, classic Greek food, nice atmosphere outdoors. The service was very slow. They had Google contact me later, suggesting that my review was fake. Feeling harrassed by them, I temporarily changed the rating of my overall happiness with them to one star, but thinking about it, I consider it more informative for others to reinstate the original 3-star rating and simply leave away their online tactics. So, if you don’t write a review later and are looking for decent food without expecting anything special, and if you have enough time to wait in case the service is slow, eating there may be okay for you.
