When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I cannot recommend Holger enough for anyone looking to plan a memorable trip! He booked us an incredible “Explora Journeys” Mediterranean cruise this past June and July, and the entire experience was flawless from start to finish. Holger was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in making our vacation perfect. He found us the best deal for the cruise, which exceeded our expectations in terms of value and luxury. The ship itself was fantastic, and the destinations we visited were absolutely breathtaking. Holger’s recommendations for excursions at each of our ports of call were spot-on, allowing us to see the best of each destination without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. His attention to detail and personalized service made all the difference in our trip. What really sets Holger apart is his exceptional customer care—he was always available to answer any questions, provide advice, or help us adjust plans when necessary. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to making sure everything goes smoothly, and we truly appreciated all his hard work. If you’re looking to book a cruise (or any kind of travel), do yourself a favor and reach out to Holger. His experti
