They serve late night food here which is why we went! (Munich does not have a robust nightlife). I had the Munich Mule (much like a Mojito) and my son a Guiness. Extremely friendly Japanese bartender who spoke excellent English was a delight.

After seeing the positive reviews we thought we’d give this place a go, especially as it is open late. We waited to be seated whilst the bartender looked us up and down and said ‘no short pants’. Whilst I recognise they have a dress code and a right to enforce it, this was not advertised. The bartender could have informed us of this upon entering instead of waiting our time before coming to seat us. Being in the centre of Munich where tourists will be the majority of your trade this is an absurd decision - they get hot!

If you like your rum this place is a must visit. A huge selection of cocktails. I recommend the painkiller. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable their craft. Very well dressed too.

One of my favorite bars in Munich! Pusser’s has a fantastic atmosphere, styled after the British Navy — just like the ships that once carried the original Pusser’s Rum. The cocktails are excellent, and the staff is attentive and friendly. Tip: try to grab a seat at the bar to watch the bartenders in action and learn a few facts about the drinks while they mix them!

While searching for bars in the area, I stumbled upon Pusser’s—a classic gem and reportedly the oldest cocktail bar in town, best known for their signature drink, the Painkiller. I have to admit, the Painkiller lived up to the hype—smooth, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Definitely worth a try! The bartender was friendly and had some great recommendations, which made the experience even better. Downstairs, there’s a cozy piano bar with live music that added a really nice touch to the atmosphere. All in all, it’s a spot well worth checking out if you’re into classic cocktails and a laid-back, timeless vibe.
