When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.

Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. On most of those days it is open 09:00–17:00. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Prom Ride GmbH on 0179 1871312; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. Its website is prom-ride.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. For directions in Berlin, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

I had a very bad experience with Prom Ride. The van was old and broke down on the highway. They offered no support or compensation and I had to hire another vehicle at my own cost.

Avoid! They rented me a vehicle that wasn’t safe for the road. It broke down twice in one week and they offered me no road side support. They told me to hire a replacement myself and they would reimburse me. They did not. I’ve emailed them 3 times asking for compensation but they are ignoring my messages.
