Medical services in Bayern range from neighbourhood practices to university hospitals. Bring your insurance card, any previous test results and a list of medications you take. Your Hausarzt (family doctor) is normally the first stop and issues the referral (Überweisung) that specialists and hospitals ask for. Pharmacies (Apotheken) are separate businesses that dispense the prescription you are handed, and every district keeps a Notdienst rota so that one pharmacy is open at night and on Sundays.

Opening hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–1 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 282116. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen. Bin nun schon mehrere Jahre dort Patient (Prophylaxe und was sonst so mal anfällt).

Klare Empfehlung!

I was visiting the area on vacation this summer when I suddenly needed urgent dental care, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The dentist was incredibly professional, kind, and reassuring from the moment I walked in. The practice itself is modern, welcoming, and equipped with high-tech tools that immediately made me feel I was in good hands. She quickly identified the problem, treated my tooth on the spot, and clearly explained the next steps I should take once I returned home. When I later visited my own dentist back home, he was very impressed with the quality of the work done—he even praised how well it had been handled. Her thoughtful approach and genuine care turned a stressful situation into a very positive one. I’m truly grateful and would highly recommend this practice to anyone—locals and travelers alike!

I visited Dr. Haid's clinic yesterday. Both, Dr. Aliki Haid and her support staff, are very welcoming, knowlegeable and they treat patients with lot of kindness and empathy. Dr Haid's consulting is satisfying, she practices a lot of patience and respect towards patients when they are sharing their dental problems and history. She goes above and beyond to help and advise patients for their health problems. Also, the clinic is very nice, very well equipped with latest technologies and easy to reach by public transport (very next to Odenonsplats U-Bahn station). I am very happy to have connected seek Dr. Aliki Haid's consulting and support. Many thanks to Dr and her team!🙏
