Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great pizza, If you’re a pizza lover in Munich city centre, I’d definitely recommend trying Pizzesco at least once. The pizza tastes really good, and there’s a nice variety of options to choose from. Based on my personal experience, I would recommend taking the takeaway option, as dining in can be quite expensive. That said, I really enjoyed the pizza itself and would happily come back for takeaway. 🍕

The food and the atmosphere were great, but unfortunately, one of the staff members treated us very poorly. It seemed like the reason was that we didn’t leave a tip, which was really unreasonable. After we decided not to tip because of his rude behavior, he did something very disrespectful—he picked up our belongings from the table and handed them to us in a dismissive way, making it clear that he wanted us to leave the restaurant. It completely ruined our experience and left us feeling very disappointed.

Me and mum came here for food whilst staying in Munich. The pizzas were lovely very tasty! I had the vegetable and mozzarella pizza and my mum had mozzarella and salami, both delicious! Fast service and the staff were all very friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend!

Pizza is absolutely delicious. The potato variety was my favourite. Huge portions and good value. Staff are busy but efficient, and will do their best for you. The restaurant is a bit loud for my taste.
