Overall clean and had enough room for two of us. However there were a few small things that could’ve been done or placed differently (like a sink in a shower room or a plug for the hair dryer in the shower room). But it’s definitely worth it for the money. The cheapest stay throughout our trip, but not the worst experience. Thank you, Pension Puschkin.

Terrible Experience – Misleading Listing and Poor Conditions The apartment I was given was completely different from what was advertised. There was no balcony, despite this being clearly stated in the listing. The toilet ran constantly, and the mattress was heavily stained, including a large brown stain that made it feel unhygienic and unusable. I am attaching a few pictures to illustrate the apartment conditions. After check-in, the host stopped all communication and offered no assistance or resolution to these issues. I immediately checked-out and contacted support. While Puschkin Rooms / Pension Puschkin may appear fairly priced and well located, I cannot recommend staying here. Unfortunately, this experience significantly impacted and ruined my Berlin vacation.

I reserved (and paid) for a queen bedroom overlooking the garden area with a private bathroom. Instead, I was given a twin bedroom on the ground floor overlooking the street, with a shared bathroom. The check-in process was terrible. I was sent wrong information in the email. I was lucky enough to have a german phone number to contact the german number given in the information directly. The check-out process was also terrible. The same person who checked me in didn't answer or respond to my text. I left the keys in the bedroom and left. The plus side of the room is that you get 8 electricity sockets, but that is only about it. Pretty useless. There were 2 spiders. The room had only one central light, which had 3 bulbs, only 1 was functioning. So the room is dim. The bed was very uncomfortable. The toilet is very dirty. I didn't even try to enter the kitchen. There was no internet access at all. I just received a text from the person who checked me in with the network and password of a nearby cafe (Cafe Rex). Guess what? The wireless signal didn't even make it to my room. Overall, I'd have been much better off paying an extra 5-10 Euros per night for a budget hotel or even an airbnb
