Although PEB – Passauer Erlebnisbad is primarily known as a water park, I visited it as a swimmer and used the outdoor pools rather than the slides and family attractions. The highlight is the outdoor 50-meter pool, which is excellent for lap swimming during the warmer months. The water was clean, visibility was great, and the pool ranges from approximately 1.6 m to 2.0 m in depth. There isn't a pace clock, but I still enjoyed several quality training sessions here. Adjacent to the main pool is a separate diving pool with platforms used by local diving teams, making it fun to watch experienced athletes practice. The facility also includes a shallow outdoor 25-meter pool with two lanes, which is well suited for beginners, easy recovery swims, or technique-focused sessions. An indoor 25-meter pool is also available, although it was closed during my visit, so I can't comment on it. A day pass costs just €6, offering excellent value. Lockers are available, but you'll need to bring your own padlock. There are clean changing rooms, large grassy areas for relaxing or doing mobility work, and even a small volleyball court that can easily double as a space for stretching or bodyweight ex

It is a nice place for a family to spend time together and have some fun. The kids enjoyed especially the slides. The water is ok, but don't expect it to be very warm and it has a little to much chlorine for my eyes. You can only buy 3 hours, but if you stay longer (we did), you can pay when you leave at a machine. Per total, we liked it.

Big pool complex with affordable prices. Nit that croudy and with restaurant. There is also a sauna in the price incuded. Great maintenance and care for sport and joy for families or individuals. If you exeed an hour more you pay only 1,50 € for additional hour. Free parking and city bus stop nearby. Not that far from town center.

August 2024: nice location with different pools. We spent some time at the pool for the little ones, water was quite cold even if it was +30 air temperature. Cafe on premises serves different food and various ice cream. It’s a nice place for a visit, but was way too crowded on Friday during summer holidays. Free parking on premises.
