You can pay by card despite other reviews saying you can’t

Trying to find parking in Cologne on a balmy Whit Sunday evening is a real challenge. I found this place by chance and it said that there were still some places vacant. I drove around for a while and eventually found a small corner space on the second level below ground. What luck. At the end of the evening I found the car park again and paid, in cash, a whopping €14.00 for the privelige of being there. Getting out of the tight car park was easier as most other cars had left by 23:00. I should learn my lesson. Next time I take the bus 😉

Do not… And I mean, do not under any circumstances… Use this parking garage. You cannot pay with a card you have to have cash. And none of the ATMs within about a five minute walk took any of my four cards. You have to have only cash. I guess cologne truly is still a medieval city.

Are people really going to keep acting like this price in the center is okay? It is extremely expensive. Not many places, but at least it is fairly clean.

Not being able to pay by card is absolutely not acceptable. Especially such a big parking right in the city center. I had to Leave my family in the car and walk to atm machine to make the payment. Location is good.
