Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 5–10 pm. It is closed on Monday. Bindlach is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Bindlach, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

My adult son and I stopped here on our way from Berlin to Zurich, hoping to have some good food and continue our drive as we’ve seen the very good reviews. The food itself was ok, but nothing extraordinary to be fair. We ordered grilled calamari and chicken gyros which were pretty standard. The Tzatziki was good and was served early, all the rest was served as we almost gave up and were ready to leave as we had to wait over an hour to receive our main dishes despite informing the waiter that we were in a rush. The atmosphere was nice, sitting outside on the deck and enjoying some nice greek music. Also - the men’s toilet had no hand towels or air drying device…

This place is a gem. The atmosphere is fantastic with Greek music and nice lighting and the food tastes great. The best part for us was that it is extremely dog friendly. Our little dog was given leckerlies and a bone that was perfectly her size and she was in heaven! We are not from the area, but if we are ever back near Bayreuth we would definitely come again!

The appetizer was awesome. The main course, while good, was very heavy with a larger portion than I could easily put away. Staff was very friendly and the restaurant is decorated very tastefully and inviting. Will definitely go again.

Incredible service!! Seriously they are so nice and accommodating and Amazing food! Sooo good. I’m so full I’m exploding but I couldn’t stop eating. The only recommendation is to have more Greek wines on the menu. Thank you!! Lovely evening.
