München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

2nd Update: Not only did they handle my feedback very professionally, admitting that things went wrong and will make this a topic internally. Ms Fuchs, the Shopreferentin really did go the extra mile, went there, searched for the dress herself, did find it and even the associated belt, called me and I picked it up today. It was a pleasure to meet Ms Fuchs and this turned the unpleasant experience from 2 days ago into a very nice experience today. Things can go wrong, people can make mistakes - that's human. What is important, is to admit mistakes, take responsibility and try the best to make up for it. So I give 5 starts to Ms Fuchs and will have a story with a happy end to tell when wearing my new dress. UPDATE: As I am convinced organisation like Oxfam are an enrichment and worth of our support, I did reach out directly to their local management as well as sent an Email and Message to the organisation's management directly. And I have to give them credit - they did respond in less than 24 hours. The ladies where wrong. There is NO RULE which forbids them selling a broken piece to the original price. The very nice lady which called me not only did reach out to the store, bu

A nice selection of English and French books spread on 2 shelves but it is a pity the store smells so bad. Other Oxfam reserves do not smell as bad.

If you think, donating your stuff will make you feel happy because you are doing good things, you might change your mind after a visit at this shop. After our spring cleaning, I brought there a lot of my used clothes which I already sorted out and carefully folded. It was impossible to find a parking place nearby, so we had to take a long walk while carrying a lot of our stuff there. The staff was very UNFRIENDLY and EXTREMELY UNGRATEFUL. Besides us, there was another guy waiting there impatiently because he was asked to stay while they were taking a look on the stuff he brought to donate. He asked if he could go because he was not allowed to park that long and needed to come back to his car as soon as possible. We also had to wait very long. The staff was kind of unhappy because we wanted to donate so many things. They behaved as if we disturbed them and they had to waste their precious time on looking through our donation. I will never come back to this store or donate anything to this organization again. If you have stuff which you would love to donate, look for other organizations whose staff treats you well and is able to appreciate your gesture of kindness.

I haven’t been so furious, stunned and disgusted all in one than I have been this morning. I took clothes into Oxfam to donate, about 2 bags full of items still with the tags still on, assortment of coats, jackets, hats and scarf’s, shirt and pullovers from brands such as levis, nike, polo RL, etc, that I never wore. First they wanted to go through them and asked me wait while they did, I explained 3 times that I spoke to people who worked there last week and they told me to bring whatever, then the manageress was as rude and arrogant and nasty as hell complained in my face said there was too much clothes and that I had to wait even though I was late for an appointment. They complained it was too much, too heavy and that they didn’t want the donation. However they took some Ralph Lauren pullovers, shirts etc and while I walked to my appointment, one of the women threw my donation of clothes out on to the street and shouted at me. Rude, horrible, disgusting, unprofessional women. They should be thrown out on the street!!!!! Not the clothes. They give charity a bad name!! Never in all my life have I witnessed such bad manners and vile people. I wouldn’t donate a bucket of urine to

Nice bright shop with a large selection of books and CDs, clothing and ornaments. Have found the odd bargain there, but I find the pricing tends to be on the high side.
