Ich bin unglaublich dankbar für die Bücherschränke in München! Lesen gehört zu meinen größten Leidenschaften und manchmal schaffe ich es, sogar zwei kleine Bücher am Tag zu lesen, wenn ich die Zeit finde. Wäre ich jedoch gezwungen, all diese Bücher selbst zu kaufen, würde das für mich schnell sehr teuer werden! Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass ich in diesen Schränken auch Bücher in anderen Sprachen finde. Ich lese nämlich nicht nur auf Deutsch und das ist für mich ein großer Pluspunkt.

Gepflegter Bücherschrank mitten im schönen Haidhausen. Wenn nicht gerade die Trambahn vorbeirumpelt, kann man hier gemütlich auf den Bänken unter Bäumen sitzen und ein Buch lesen. Träger des Schranks ist der AKA-Verein für interkulturellen Austausch. Ein kostenloses Angebot für alle, die ein Buch mitnehmen oder dort abgeben möchten. Auch internationale Bücher gibt es hin und wieder. Für alle Durstigen gibt es gleich daneben einen alten Trinkwasser-Brunnen.

Good concept for book lovers. It is popping up more and more in Munich. This one is the most intresting for the english book readers. Enjoy !

Its an open bookshelf for free book read or exchange. You can bring books here or take something you would like to read. I loved this concept. Overall in Munich there are many suxh shelfs. This one is well maintained and regularly emptied. I already found many gems there that I loved reading. English books are usually % of the total stock. Still it is nice with a few public benches next to it.
