Hands down, this is the best South Indian restaurant in Berlin! I have visited this place around 10 times, and that alone says how much I love it. Every single dish I’ve tried has been outstanding, making it impossible to pick just one favourite. The consistency is what really stands out. Even after visiting multiple times, the food has always been delicious. The staff are welcoming, and the overall dining experience is always enjoyable. If you’re in Berlin and craving authentic South Indian food, especially Kerala cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I would highly recommend it to anyone, and I’ll definitely be back!

After ages I tried Kerela food and the flavours took me back to all the amazing trips I took to Kerela and the authentic food I had tried. The order took some time to come but once the food arrived on the table there was no waiting 😀 We ordered fish curry, appams, paalparotas n some salad. Absolutely flavourful 👍 If I ever travel to Berlin again, il visit this place again. Highly recommended.

My new favorite spot for Indian cuisine! Finally, a restaurant that prepares dishes beyond the usual boring SOPs. Everything is flavorful, fresh, and made with great quality ingredients. The staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, with genuinely great hospitality. The taste feels truly authentic and instantly reminded me of my days in Kochi. The vibe of the place is also really cool, making the whole experience even better. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot from now on. I just hope they maintain the same taste and quality consistently! 🫶🏼

If you’re looking for the most authentic Kerala soul food in Europe, Nila in Berlin is a total standout. The Beef Paal Porotta is a masterclass in flavor—perfectly flaky and rich—while the Pepper Beef delivers that signature toddy-shop heat. Even the Pazham Pori (banana fritters) tasted exactly like home, proving that they don't cut corners on traditional recipes. The experience is rounded out by a fantastic bar program; the Manavati Araak cocktail was a sophisticated, botanical highlight that paired brilliantly with the spicy menu. Between the Chicken Chilli Cheese Dosa and the vibrant atmosphere, Nila offers a truly top-tier South Indian dining experience. It is easily one of the best spots for Kerala cuisine on the continent!
