Salons, spas and fitness studios in Germany are best booked ahead, especially for evenings and Saturdays, and most now take bookings online or through WhatsApp as well as by phone. Agree the service and the price before you start, note that many salons close on Mondays, and tip 5-10% in cash if you are happy. Gyms usually ask for a 12- or 24-month contract, with the monthly rate falling the longer you sign up for, so read the cancellation clause.

Augsburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had an amazing experience at New Hair Cut! Melaeni did my haircut, and she was incredible. I came in nervous with a specific wolf‑cut style in mind, and she understood every detail perfectly. She listened carefully, checked with me throughout the process, and made sure the layers, flow, and shape matched exactly what I wanted. The result is honestly perfect... the best haircut I’ve had. She’s kind, patient, and truly skilled. I’m so happy with my hair and will definitely come back. Highly recommend Melaeni and this salon!

Great experience all round. Booking an appointment was so simple, so happy straight off. Very relaxed atmosphere, seen immediately, lovely hairwash, then chatted with Lara about what I had in mind, she offered her advice too and then did a brilliant job. I left feeling great! Thanks and I will definitely be back again.
