Sinzing is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Sinzing is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

A very peaceful and beautiful spot just outside Regensburg, where the Naab River meets the Danube River. It’s a calm place to relax and enjoy nature, with lovely views of the water. There’s also a memorial stone nearby marking that the river flows all the way to the Black Sea, which gives the place a special feeling. Not far from here, you’ll find a small BBQ area, perfect for spending some quiet time with friends or family.

It’s a nice spot, but if you are hoping to just relax and get away from the noise,,, think again!!! The silence and calm is quickly spoiled by families with children! There are so many “family oriented spaces” everywhere else,,, but of course other people’s calm must be spoiled!

It's an okay location where the Naab and Danube rivers meet. I thought it would be a little cleaner. The dirtiness is why it just got an okay rating.

It is the perfect place to enjoy the confluence of the Naab and Danube rivers, swimming and kayaking.
