Öffnungszeiten in den Sommerferien 6 Wochen lang von Di - Fr 10 bis 16.30 Uhr. Danke, dass man als normalarbeitende Bevölkerung gnädigerweise noch am Samstag von 10 bis 15 Uhr seine Bücher abholen und abgeben darf, wenn man schon den Rest der Woche systematisch ausgeschlossen wird.

Some visitors clearly need to be reminded of library etiquette!! The library has a good selection of books and is easily accessible by public transport, which is great. The employees are generally helpful and approachable. However, the noise level is unacceptable for a library. Groups and pairs often talk loudly, treating the space more like a café, and staff do not seem to address this issue. Some visitors clearly need to be reminded of proper library etiquette. I appreciate that the library is a place for everyone and that everyone should feel welcome, but it’s important that all visitors respect each other. While it’s understandable that children can be noisy, they are usually located on the lowest floor, where the noise is more acceptable. Perhaps the same approach could be applied to youngsters who need to study and discuss things with each other—directing them to the lower floors—while designating the top floor, where adults study, as a quiet area.
