For me this is one of the best restaurants in Bayreuth. All the food that I already tasted there is incredible, giving highlights for the Spaghetti Carbonara (never ate any better even when I travelled to Italy), Calzone (be ready to have a big and tasteful meal) and the burger (the thicker one that I found in the city with an incredible taste). The personnel there are super kind and are always giving a lot of attention. I highly recommend this place!

I feel a bit weird writing a review for a restaurant in Germany as it is in my opinion unfair to judge the cuisine from a country with little food culture when coming from a very rich and world-wide renown food culture myself. But since this specific restaurant is Italian, I thought that some constructive criticism and a grounded opinion for food lovers wouldn't go amiss. The personnel and service are perfectly fine. The restaurant is located at the city center although in the less pretty part of the central street that accommodates all the restaurants and fancy shops of Bayreuth. We ordered two pizzas, a beer, wine and 2 small salads. The prices are also good. BUT. This was the most salty pizza I have ever had in my life. The two pizzas we ordered had exactly the same taste although they were different. I couldn't taste the cheese or the basil and honestly after a couple of pieces I gave up because I needed water. I don't know if other dishes are more tasty, and perhaps they are, but if someone gets pizza wrong, I find it hard to believe they'll get other things right. Just my two cents for those of you who cherish your dinner outings.

Situated in the centre of Bayreuth, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was friendly. The menu was limited, but whatever we had turned out to be quite good, especially the Tiramisu.

We went here for lunch on Sunday and had a lovely time! They have nicely shaded tables for sitting outside. In my photos you can see the bruschetta italiana & antipasti verdura starters - generous and delicious portions that we shared among all five of us. I had one of their huge pizzas as my main, the Richard Wagner pizza (pictured), which was very tasty too! Others in our party had other pizzas, a pasta dish, and a big salad, all of which were very good. Our only criticism would be that due to the dough being very thin and the toppings quite generous, the middle parts of the pizzas were too soft to pick up by hand. Nevertheless we absolutely recommend the place!
