While the hotel itself is great, the rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained, my experience was completely ruined by the appalling service from the front desk staff. We requested a late checkout four times, offering to pay an extra €50 for just two additional hours. The first two times, we were told it would be possible. However, the subsequent interactions were nothing short of humiliating. Despite me showing them on their own website that our room type was available for the following night, they repeatedly insisted that the hotel was 'fully booked.' They were dismissive, telling us to come back and speak to other colleagues, only to be given the same runaround again. It is baffling that a hotel would treat existing, paying guests this way. From a business perspective, earning €50 for two hours is clearly a better use of the room than leaving it empty, yet I was forced to beg and humiliate myself just to get a simple request processed. I have never encountered such poor, illogical, and unprofessional service in my life. The only reason I am leaving two stars instead of one is thanks to the young woman from Ukraine at the reception. The hotel is in a very convenient location, with supermarkets and nice cafés located just a short walk away. We booked a room for three people and it was incredibly comfortable…it actually felt more like an apartment! It came with a kitchen, and even the sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable. On top of that, everything was clean and the staff provided a great service. I highly recommend this place for large families or anyone traveling in groups! The neighborhood is also super quiet.

a) The expensive suite we were given on Saturday night had the following issues - the fridge door is faulty - does not close and hence the fridge was wet and the freezer section was covered with ice - there is an awful smell in the bathroom - the bottom tray of the dishwasher was lacking 5 wheels and moved very woobly in and out - there was no light in the garage on arrival. The receptionist said 'Oh yes, I forgot to tell you that'. When aslking whether they have a torch, she said they had none or offered no other help - so we used our iPhones to get our luggage in. b) Saturday night, the reception said we have to talk to the manager - we did so on Sunday morning. Her solution was the following - they can offer a much smaller room - they can offer the same room 4 levels lower at 3pm. - but we have to leave the room at noon and sit downstairs for 2 hours in the reception - and they will offer our current room to someone else obviously WITHOUT fixing any of the issues. - no reduction of the price because they ‘offered us a solution and we did not take it’ I think the entire behaviour pattern is extraordinary.
