The online check-in process was very convenient and easy to use. We also really appreciated the digital room key, the restaurant recommendations, and the smooth communication via WhatsApp before our arrival. Unfortunately, our experience changed completely once we arrived. We had requested a baby cot in advance, but it was not available. The reception was already closed at 2:00 PM, and when we contacted the hotel via WhatsApp, we were simply told that nobody was available anymore to provide a baby cot. As a result, our toddler had to sleep in our bed, which he is not used to. Combined with the excessive noise outside, none of us got any sleep that night. The room itself was also disappointing. It was not clean, with cobwebs, mould in the bathroom, and signs of dampness throughout the room. Breakfast was another letdown. When we arrived and sat down, we were only given instructions in German that the breakfast buffet was in the next room. The baskets and food items were hardly ever refilled, and the staff member on duty was unfriendly. It’s a shame because our first impression was very positive. Well located hotel with welcoming staff. Only remark is about cleaning. The room is comfortable but not perfectly clean, and the room is not done everyday.

Room: ok, but has a mold smell due to bad shower design. Shower has no curtain and always floods the bathroom floor. Get used to it, but always weird when entering the room even with minute difference. Service: does not match website, might be different. Have to verify everything on sight. breakfast is ok, but no sausages or omelet. Location: perfect, right near english park. We walked everywhere. Old town is 20 min walk through parks.

The ease of everything with the hotel means that everything can be done without interaction with the staff at all. This makes all aspects of the stay simpler and provides flexibility in all aspects of the stay. The room was simple, and had all that was necessary for my stay, the bed was comfortable although the pillow wasn't to my taste. I appreciated having a large window and despite being near the entrance I was not distracted by any noise external to my room. Check-in and check-out were both simple affairs, and having everything controlled through the phone was also a nice touch, reducing the reliance upon a key that could be lost. The location of the hotel is also very good, with connections to public transport, S-Bahn, U-Bahn and busses all available within a short walk. Disliked · I think the bathroom could have been cleaner, and to enhance the privacy of the rooms on the ground floor (particularly facing the courtyard) a screen or film could be placed on the window.
