About Mezzodi

Mezzodi is a weinbar in München, Bayern. It is listed at Steinstraße 57, 81667 München-Au-Haidhausen, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as café, coffeeshop, restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 4–10 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Mezzodi on 089 484950; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, mezzodi.de.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 297 reviews, which is a strong result for a weinbar in München and suggests consistent service.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

When I was attracted to their store. The owner warmly told me please feel free to take photos. It's enough to imagine that the atmosphere of this Bar will be very good.

We absolutely loved this place! Food is great and comes in good portions (the bruscetta turned out to be a huge, delicious slice of bread and the Humus was more than enough for 2 persons). The wine (we had the standard Tempranillo on the menu) was fantastic. The nice atmosphere and the friendly service made this a really nice evening! If I compare price/quality with some overrated Italian places in Munich, this is a real stand-out. You'll have my money over and over again in the next months. 😃

Super tasty food at very reasonable prices. Kudos to the kitchen staff on this one. There's a long list of drinks, including some suspicious Hugos (vanilla anyone) and some good Italian wines. Stay inside if you like cosy and music, or on the terrace if you like to stare at the night sky (there's no lighting besides a candle per table)

You need to sit outside, the place is so cute. I’ve tried pistazien souffle and i really liked it. Their latte was also good and in total i’ve paid 7.90€.

(4.6) Nice place to take a drink along with a snack. We ordered olives, small cheese plate and on top cheese cake. Everything was tasty and in perfect snacking size (what means good portions ;) ). The campari was also really herby and refreshing.
