Metzgerei Fuchs

Located at Pödeldorfer Str. 154, 96050 Bamberg, Metzgerei Fuchs operates as a metzgereien serving Bamberg in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

The business lists hours on 1 day of the week. On most of those days it is open 07:15–13:30. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 0951 12663. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is metzgerei-fuchs.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

With 4.1 out of 5 on Google from 55 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for metzgereien, feinkost & märkte in Bamberg. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.

Bamberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.
