About Masi Wine Bar Munich

A real brand house that enriches the Masi Wine Experience thanks to its ultra-premium urban position in the very heart of the most exclusive shopping experience, strengthening its lifestyle dimension.

Masi Wine Bar Munich is an italienisch in München, Bayern. It is listed at Maximilianstraße 40, 80539 München, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

Opening hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–11 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 23032565. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is masi.it, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 353 reviews, which is a strong result for an italienisch in München and suggests consistent service.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Beautiful fresh pasta and incredible wine! Munich remains one of my favourite European cities, and Masi Wine Bar more than holds its own in a city renowned for exceptional dining. Its offering feels genuinely unique, serving some of the freshest food I’ve had in Munich. Perfectly located in the heart of Maximilianstraße, it’s an ideal stop for either a relaxed lunch or an elegant dinner. The service, thoughtful recommendations, and overall vibe match the quality of the cuisine, making it a place I’d happily return to again and again.

Wine Bar located right at Munich Golden Mile - Maximilianstraße, which is a statement itself. Extensive wine list with a refined selection, including vintage bottles paired with a single sheet menu of Venetian-inspired starters, mains & desserts. Our party of 2 had Spaghettoni with tomatoes & basil & Risotto with Costasera wine and Monte Veronese. Took the offered wine pairings, these were top-notch. Food-wise, the first dish was a good executed classic, but second one, in my opinion, lacked character, taste & presentation, so half portion was left on the plate. Interior focus is on wine displays paired with large, openable windows and contemporary furnishing. Seating arrangements can be a little uncomfortable in case one takes an aisle seat which is extremely narrow and accommodates both waiters and guests proceeding. Service is friendly and attentive, although I must say bread appeared on the table only after the mains and oil was nowhere to be seen. Needless to say, I expected a little bit more. This would stay as a nice place for a glass and a coffee.

I stopped here for a nice relaxing lunch while in Munich. They structure their menu around their wine list, and suggest pairings for each dish on the menu. The wines were lovely, and the food was superb. Definitely worth a stop if you're looking for something other than German faire!

One of my favorite places to go for good Italian food and amazing wine collection. Also a great place for a date night. Their freshly baked warm breads are delicious! Love their octopus salad and I always order that for sure. A repeat customer and I have never been disappointed.

Came here for dinner and ordered the cheese & salami plate for starters. The cheese plate was very good and highly recommended. We also ordered the beef cheek and shrimp pasta. Both mains were equally tasty. Their wine selection is pretty awesome and they have very reasonable ones from ¢25 a bottle to the high end ones in hundreds. Service was also very good and friendly. Very recommended.
