Mama Vân - Sài Gòn Deli is a chinesisch in Berlin, Berlin. It is listed at Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 17, 10178 Berlin, which places it among the local businesses of Berlin that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 11:00–22:00. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 030 49967951. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is mamavan.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 1,009 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinesisch, thai, vietnamesisch & indisch in Berlin.

Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. Getting around Berlin is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Berlin and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

After a few days in Germany, we miss the taste of Asian food. The Pho Bo here is tasty, in good portion and at reasonable price.

Food is delicious, pho is very authentic. The meatballs in pho are perfection. We also had the avocado drink and the salted coffee.

I've known Mama Vân for quite a while. The newly redesigned interior is even more stylish and inviting, while still feeling wonderfully authentic. The moment you walk in, it feels like you've been transported to a small family-run street café in Vietnam. The absolute highlight: the Bánh Mì. The pâté is incredibly traditional and packed with flavor and the baguette is simply perfect (it used to be glutenfree, not sure if they've changed it since the reopening) - 10/10, maybe even better. In my opinion, this is the best and most authentic Bánh Mì in all of Berlin. Other dishes are great as well, but the Bánh Mì is pure poetry. The service is always warm and friendly and the location right at Alexanderplatz makes it to a little vietnamese escape. My only wish would be a Bánh Mì with lemongrass beef on the menu. Other than that: absolutely flawless. Highly recommended! 🇻🇳✨🍜🥖

My go to banh mi in Berlin! I usually get the tofu and add egg for extra protein. Really delicious (especially with the sriracha and chili!) and filling. Apparently the bread is glutenfree. The summer rolls are also great. :) Staff are always super friendly! Cảm ơn 🙏

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant that offers fast food-style dishes. Located near Alexanderplatz, it's an excellent choice if you're looking for a quick and delicious meal. The service was impressively fast, ensuring minimal wait times. However, one minor drawback is the limited selection of vegetarian options. It would be great if they could expand their vegetarian menu to cater to a broader range of dietary preferences. Nonetheless, if you're in the mood for a satisfying and speedy dining experience, this restaurant is definitely worth considering.
