On 28.08.2026 approximately 12:30 pm. We went for Lunch without any greetings we were seated then they totally ignored us and even they take the order from the table next to us before even they came after us. Because of this we left without any more interaction. Therefore only the view on Service. Afterwards we went to Hans im Glück where we were properly greeted and served.

First time visiting this town, decided to give this place a try, big mistake. We first called to confirm that this place is safe for someone with a nut allergy, they were rude over the phone and acted annoyed. After confirming that the food would be safe, we placed the order. Once we received our food from the delivery driver, this is what we got. Pizza was extremely bland, no seasoning, the toppings weren’t spread out evenly, the pizza wasn’t even cut all the way through, and the slices were different sizes. The shrimp looked so bland and gross. They put zero effort into making our food. We honestly had one slide each and tossed the rest. Worst pizza we have ever had.

I used to come to L'Osteria just for the amazing chocolate souffle, but I was so disappointed last time, to see what the souffle looks like this days. *first 2 photos are new, the last 2 photos are from another times* Unfortunately the same price, almost 8€ for a small souffle and a spoon of sorbet. It's sad. But the food was good, we had some pasta. The new ones, Penney Polo Aurora were great, but also the Maccheronici colorati. Service was great, as usually. The atmosphere is just too much, tables too close and too many people.

L'Osteria is a modern Italian restaurant serves delicious 😋 and authentic Italian food at the heart of Ingolstadt old town, right by the oldest church also the oldest surviving building of Ingolstadt. Like their interior design, especially the lighting, gives you a warm atmosphere. Food-wise, like their avocado 🥑 and beet 🫜 salad, house sauce with quinoa, plus the fresh greens, strongly recommend it!!! As suggested by the restaurant, I ordered Gnocchi Gamberetti, you know what, the shrimps 🦐 are very very fresh, while I made the wrong decision to ask for spaghetti instead of penne, so the noodle portion was a bit plain, not as I expected. Having said this, I definitely will come again next time in town.

Yummy thin crust pizzas, I love their 'half and half pizza' recommendation, it's one of the best and most unique. You get to taste 2 different pizzas at lesser cost. Their pastas are also delicious.
