I've been using the gym for about 6 months. The opening hours are great, the staff is friendly and competent, and the equipment is functional and often available. BUT, like lots of gym in Berlin, Lokahi Loft struggles with cleanliness. The users are not encouraged to clean their equipment after use and this reflects in the overall cleanliness of the gym. The users are only strict when in the sauna tu make sure your body doesn't touch the bench. The locker rooms are not deeply cleaned and full of dust (picture) - same goes with the showers, that are full of slime and dirt. It looks like the cleaning teams are always doing the bare minimum. On another note, 70%+ of the lockers are blocked off/reserved, which means at peak hours you often find yourselves struggling to get changed/get a spot.

I'm happy I found Lokahi when I moved to Berlin. The gym is well-equipped and offers an easy training environment without crowdedness. The sauna-area is quiet and respectful, and in summer the sunny rooftop is a great alternative to the indoor resting area. From what I've seen, the quality of the personal trainers is very high, with properly adjusted programming and attention for the clients. The members at Lokahi are friendly and very mixed. With many people who have been member for a long time, there's always a mixed crowd between the lifting areas, yoga- and cardio-classes, and the wellness areas.

Have been visiting Lokahi for over a year. Definitely recommend it! Great facility and helpful staff. Love love the classes (yoga, group workout, spinning)...so many varieties and BEST instructors I've met. My fitness level improves with them, and the environment is always friendly and supportive. Top-class Fitnessstudio.

Great gym and community! I've tried all the gyms in the area. Lokahi Loft studio stood out. It's well equipped - racks, lots of free weights, large variety of machines,.. They have a high temperature sauna (Yeah it's naked - That's how they do it in Germany), accommodating locker rooms with functional showers, a sunny rooftop terrace, studio rooms for the classes and even an outdoor facility you can book for your personal work outs. The community is a great demographic and cultural mix - friendly, respectful and actually in the gym to work out (very different from what you get in most of the commercial gyms). The owner, who has been connected to the gym for more than 2 decades, even took the time to welcome me personally! One suggestion - Any chance a low temperature ice bath could added to the wellness facilities? 🤞

This gym is amazing! I love that has a very cozy and friendly feel to it and that offers so many great services. You have a great sauna, a wide selection of classes, best showers and a super good staff! I have been working out here for a good while and the results are visible in my test result! They really help you reach your fitness goals. Highly recommend ❤️
