Bamberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This a great centrally located hotel which offers a 2 bedroom accommodation. There is a kitchen in the room with stove, refrigerator and dishwasher.

Stayed here for 3 nights while on a rail tour of Bavaria. The hotel was near the old town, about 20 minutes from the station. The room was comfortable, my only complaint was there was nowhere to sit in the room other than on the bed. Breakfast was taken at De Nada Taco Society which is adjoining the hotel.

We checked in late but they sent us a very detailed check in process so we could enter our rooms without problem. The building is so beautiful. It has an elevator. Great for wheelchairs or strollers or people who has disabilities. Rooms are huge and comfortable. They are clean with clean bathrooms. The size of the bathrooms are large too. The breakfast selection were great with warm dishes such as bacons, boiled eggs and omelets and large bread selections with salami, cheese, etc. our rooms were cleaned everyday. Check in and check out was flawless and staffs were so friendly and accommodating as well. Highly recommended.
