München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I started taking German classes with Sabine in March as a complete beginner, and have learnt a lot in just a few months. I feel much more confident speaking German now, even in everyday situations. Sabine is a great teacher, very patient, and explains things in a way that's easy to understand. I recently signed up for another course with her as I'm really happy with the progress I've made. If you're looking to make real progress, I recommend giving Language Success a try.

My instructor, Imene, has given me hope that I can learn German after failing to do so 5 or 6 previous times. She is effective in her methods, but also in her patience and her ability to explain concepts in a way I can understand. My comprehension and ability to make myself understood in German have increased significantly, as well as my confidence. Thank you, Imene and thank you Sabine for making sure I have the perfect instructor for me!

I started with some knowledge about German grammar already, but totally lacked the ability to apply it in my speaking. Sabine was of great help to overcome that barrier, and it felt more and more comfortable with the weeks. She is very dedicated and ready to adapt to your needs. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my one-to-one online German lessons with Language Success and made significant progress. I started at approximately A2.2 level with the goal of passing the B1 TELC exam, which I achieved within just a couple of months thanks to the guidance of my teacher, Imene. Her structured yet varied teaching approach greatly improved all aspects of my German, particularly my speaking confidence.
